What are the definitions of the different types of jobs?

1. Full-Time Employees (FTE)
FTE normally works 30- to 40-hours in a week or 130 hours in a calendar month as per IRS standards.

2. Part-time employees (PTE)
PTEs work fewer than 30 hours a week. They work part time and don’t qualify for benefits.

3. Temporary employees (TE)
They work for a particular project They are entitled to unemployment and Social Security benefits.

4. Consultants
They understand clients’ needs and provide expert advice, but don’t perform the work.
