Responsibilities
- 7+ years of exp in Platform Setup, Configuration and Deployment:
- Design, Install, configure, and maintain JBoss application server instances based on the requirements.
- Ensuring proper configuration and adherence to best practices.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitor the performance of JBoss applications and environments, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Optimize system settings, resources, and configurations to enhance the overall performance and scalability of JBoss applications.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to JBoss application servers, including performance issues, application failures, and connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyse and fix application-related issues affecting JBoss environments.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures and best practices to protect JBoss applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the configuration and management of JBoss environments.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Set up monitoring tools and alerts to proactively identify and address issues within JBoss environments.
- Generate performance reports and provide insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and optimization.
Skill Set:
- 7+ years of proven experience in configuring, deploying, and maintaining JBoss application server environments.
- Strong understanding of Java EE (Enterprise Edition) concepts and web application architecture.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and configuration management.
- Knowledge of networking, security principles, and best practices related to application servers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications, such as Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA), are a plus.
